Language is Everything has featured in a recent news story about how the World Trade Centre Hull & Humber has helped Towne Lifting and Testing, an engineering company, gain access to the Libyan market. You can read the full story here. The picture below shows Chris Towne (the managing director of Towne Lifting and Testing), Stephanie Duodu (from Language is Everything) and Tony Howard (the chairman of the World Trade Centre Hull & Humber).
Meanwhile, proof that we are indeed an 'above-average' company (!): our team has won the annual charity quiz night run by Reed Specialist Recruitment. The event was organised in partnership with Language is Everything, and the proceeds went to the Victoria Climbié appeal, a cause which our chairman, Carolyn Burgess, is closely associated with.
"The questions were really hard," said Hannah Brigham, our trainee manager, who was part of the winning team. "And there was only one question related to language and culture: which country does beef stroganoff come from?"
